Analogue ignition systems
Analogue ignition systems evaluate coil signals via proven analogue circuits and thus control simple engine adjustments and functions. The compact ignition systems based on the CDI principle have been designed for applications in small engines for hand-held forestry and gardening tools and within the Prüfrex group are referred to under the umbrella term IPI (Intelligent Power Ignition). Fields of application: chain saws, lawn mowers, stationary engines, spraying equipment and small engines. They feature the following:
- Electronic ignition module based on the principle of capacitor discharge (CDI)
- 2- or 3-limb iron core (U or E-core)
- Path-controlled triggering (position-controlled ignition timing)
- Speed range up to13,000 1/min according to type
